Pastor Phillip is still healing from his knee surgery, so I’m back with my wife Heather playing Final Fantasy. This time she attempts to destroy reactor 5 and meets my favorite video game character of all time, Aerith.
While Pastor Phillip was out recovering, my wife joined me for something new—her first time playing the original Final Fantasy VII! We gave voices to the characters, laughed a lot, and even uncovered surprising emotional themes beneath all the pixels and turn-based battles.
